SACRAMENTS
BAPTISM
If you would like a Priest or Deacon to perform a Baptismal ritual, we will do so at the location of your choice in the Twin Cities area. Some preparation is required to ensure proper participation in the rite.
WEDDING
If you would like to receive the sacrament of marriage in the Old Catholic Church, please contact one of the clergy at Spirit of Christ. The celebration of a marriage may be done in any suitable location. Preparation is required.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Attending to the sick and dying are among the most sacred duties of the Church. Fr. Curran was initially ordained a Priest in the Roman Rite, so he is permitted to anoint the dying in the absence of a Roman Priest.
Those about to undergo a serious surgery are also considered to be in danger of death and can receive the sacrament of anointing.
PENANCE
Penance/confession is available by request.
FUNERAL & WAKE
Funerals and/or wakes can be arranged either with or without a mass. They may be done in a church, funeral home or any other appropriate location.
Home masS for special occasions
Special anniversaries, birthdays or other occasions may be an opportunity to celebrate with the sacrament of the Eucharist. This could be done in one’s home, an elder care facility or any other suitable location.
